Dreamed up by a doctor, for everyone trying to make sense of their care.
Vinyl is a secure, AI-powered personal health assistant that makes healthcare easier to understand, remember, and act on, so patients, caregivers, and their doctors stay connected and confident in every decision.

A physician who saw the gap… and decided to close it.
Vinyl was founded by Dr. Kaitlan Baston, a nationally recognized physician, former New Jersey Health Commissioner, and former President & CEO of University Hospital in Newark.
From practicing primary care and addiction medicine to running a safety-net hospital in one of America's densest and most diverse cities, she watched the same problem over and over again: People leave the exam room or hospital unsure of what to do next. Meanwhile, their families struggle to help from the outside.
Vinyl is her answer. Built on the belief that people can take better care of their health when they truly understand it, and when they have the right support.
People want to be healthy, and they deserve to be. But our broken health system puts too many barriers in their way.
Vinyl doesn't fix everything, but it is a darn (damn) good start.
People deserve more than fragmented portals, scattered care plans, and jargon that feels impossible to navigate.
So we built a platform that makes healthcare work for people, helping patients, caregivers, and doctors stay connected, coordinated, and confident in their decisions.
You control your health record, contribute to it, and decide who sees it. You're the CEO of your body; your doctors are your expert consultants.
We turn what happens in the exam room into plain language and clear next steps: knowing what was said, and what to do about it.
HIPAA-aligned and private by design. Your information is never sold and never shared without your permission.
